Canada Cup Course Open for Pre-Ride

The Canada Cup/Ontario Cup Course is preliminarily marked and open for pre-riding! Course is NOW OPEN for Pre-Ride only during regular Hardwood Ski & Bike hours and trail fees apply.

The Course this year is a big change with a throwback to more of an old school course. The course will pass the feedzone twice per lap and use some favorites like BoneShaker, Deena’s JoyRide, MBX, but also adds in some rarely used Radical trails in the far end of the system. There is also a Youth specific course for the 8:30 am start.
See  https://pulseracing.ca/events/canada-cup/ for updated course maps, schedule and registration. Start times can be different from Ontario Cup. Be sure to carefully check the schedule for race times, and your appropriate course.

Saturday June 16 – Join us for an afternoon of empowerment through sports during our Champ Chat at Hardwood Ski & Bike! This Champ Chat includes an inspirational Chat and Q&A with our Fast and Female Ambassadors, physical activity sessions, yoga, autographs, and more! Participants will enjoy high quality face-to-face time with female athlete role models. Sunday June 17 – Cross Country races. There are events for all ages and abilities, with many of Canada’s best mountain bikers racing at 1:45 pm.

Summer Epic 8 Hour – Course Open

Summer Epic 8 Hour, July 15 – Entry Deadline Looming !!!!
The FINAL entry deadline for the Summer Epic 8 Hour is this Wednesday July 12th at midnight.
There is no entry after this deadline and no day-of entry.

Epic 8 Hour course marked and open for preview July 8th.
This years’ 10km course will be amazing. It starts with one climb to get you to “the ridge” and from there is fast, flowy and FUN!!!. The course ends with a 1km ripping downhill, so everyone feels like a hero at the end,

We look forward to an awesome summer day of fun and great riding.

Why an Epic 8?? The Epic 8 Hour Relay is all about the camaraderie, sportsmanship and the gritty, hard-core enjoyment of riding with friends. The Epic 8 Hour relay is a personal and team challenge to complete as many laps as possible from 10 am to 6 pm. Many riders prefer the 8 hour format for a solo challenge, but the majority of riders still enjoy the mix of fun, fast riding and the competitive (or not so competitive), social team atmosphere. Whether riding just for fun, or vying for a podium spot in your category, the Epic 8 Hour will be a memorable experience!

We want you to join in the Reggae theme with Roots, Rocks and Reggae. Create your own Reggae riding and casual outfit and pit areas.

Online Entry Deadline

Less than 24hrs to pre-register online for the Trek Store Canada Cup/Ontario Cup and save $$. Onsite entry is available up to 1 hr before the start, but please don’t wait this long! It will also cost a fair bit more.
The course is getting rave reviews, and we have planned wet weather bypasses for some of the rooted sections that are not so fun when slippery. https://pulseracing.ca/events/canada-cup/
